Time Travelers
Experience working in an 1860’s kitchen and eat in the dining room of the historic Wade House Stagecoach Inn.  Located 6 miles from Plymouth in the village of Greenbush, the site is now a State Park and offers guests an opportunity to cook a meal the same way Betsy Wade did in the later part of the 19th century.  No electricity or fancy utensils.  Guests will be provided with recipes, ingredients, and items needed to create a scrumptious meal.  The best part!  Everyone sits down in the Wade dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labor.  Visit the Wade House website for reservation information for the historic dinner (guests are responsible for the cost of the event).  Stay at the Gilbert Huson House and receive a 10% discounted room rate. Reservations at the Huson House may be for Friday and/or Saturday night. Next year (2012) dates are pending.

Oktoberfest
Enjoy our rich German heritage right here in Plymouth.  Live music, German and American food along side a biergarten at the Plymouth Arts Center.  You’ll think your right in Germany!  Walking distance from the Inn.  Guests receive a 10% discounted room rate.  Reservations may be Friday and/or Saturday night.  Next year (2012) dates are pending.

Civil War Reenactment
Sept. 22-23, 2012
Experience this 1860’s clash of arms between Union and Confederate troops.  Watch hundreds of soldiers struggle across the fields in re-enactment depicted with startling accuracy and passion.  If you are a re-enactor pitch your tent in Greenbush and spend a comfortable night at the Huson House.  Return to the battlefield in the morning refreshed and fed.
